Moondance Ridge Bed and Breakfast is a member of the Professional Association of Innkeepers International (PAII). As such, there is a vast amount of knowledge and resources available to the innkeeper through trainings, seminars and suggestions from peers who operate Bed & Breakfasts throughout the world. We are sometimes asked how a Bed & Breakfast differs from other forms of lodging. Bed & Breakfasts provide an exclusive private setting for your get away due to the limited amount of rooms available for overnight accommodations. You will find that each Bed & Breakfast as well as each room in a B&B has a unique décor. Breakfasts can range from a self serve continental to an elegantly served multi-course meal. There is usually a set breakfast menu, so it is best to mention any dietary requirements at the time of reservation. Many Bed &Breakfasts are owner occupied. You are able to benefit from their unique knowledge of the area, personal service and the safety of having an owner overseeing the daily operations as well as greeting all the guests upon arrival. There is usually a set check-in period that varies with each B&B based on the owner’s availability to greet guests. Moondance Ridge is unique in that it is one of the few Bed & Breakfasts that was build for the purpose. Therefore, all our rooms are suites with private sitting areas that provide TV/DVD and fireplace. Every guest room also has a private bath with whirlpool tub and shower system. The guest common area offers a two-storied dining room with private tables, a cathedral ceiling conservatory with dramatic gas fireplace as well as a sauna on the back veranda. The owner’s quarters are located in a separate area of the house.
